
My vision for how the merchant delivery details modal would look like in the Uber Direct dashboard.
📝 Context
Uber Direct is our white-label delivery-as-a-service platform. Businesses sign up for Uber Direct to use our couriers to deliver their orders.
Merchants request and monitor their deliveries in the Direct dashboard that we provide them.

Merchants constantly complain about:
- Some information being hard to find.
- Order defects.
- The delivery details modal not being responsive for mobile and tablet views.
There are also design issues:
- Just looking at the delivery details modal, it’s evident that it lacks good information architecture that would help merchants better manage hundreds to thousands of orders.
- Because of this, it also lacks a good framework for it to scale as our team builds new features.
